
Danza Contemporanea de Cuba was founded in Havana, Cuba in 1959 by Ramon Guerra and has become renowned for producing contemporary works which combine Latin American, Afro-Caribbean and classical European dance styles. The Company returns to London with a world premiere by Israeli choreographer Itzik Galili and a revival of George Céspedes’ stand-out work, Mambo 3XXI – a piece which was nominated for both an Olivier and a TMA Award following its hugely popular UK debut in 2010.
