Jersey Boys at the Prince Edward Theatre - London
The Prince Edward Theatre is arranged over three levels: Stalls, Dress Circle and Grand Circle. As shown in the seating plan below, there are boxes situated on all levels. The Stalls are split into four sections. The front section (rows B to K) is separated by an aisle running the width of the auditorium. The front row of the Stalls is well below the level of the stage. Patrons shorter than 5’8” may have difficulty with their view (row B). The rear section of the Stalls is divided by two aisles running from front to back (rows L to ZB). The rows to the rear are slightly obstructed by the overhang of the Dress Circle. (rows Z to ZB). Some central seats at the rear are also slightly obstructed by the sound desk. Again, as shown in the seating plan, there are two boxes at Stalls level, with four seats each. Views are restricted but there is no reduction in price.
Similar to the Stalls, the Dress Circle is split into front and rear sections by a central aisle. The two rows to the rear suffer from the overhang of the Grand Circle. The Dress Circle has a number of loggia seats to the front. They combine the privacy of a box with a fantastic view of the stage, though legroom is limited. The two boxes on the Dress Circle are restricted view, as are the slip seats to the sides. The Grand Circle is set high in the auditorium and handrails restrict the view from some seats. The slip seats and boxes to the front are private but slightly restricted in view. The action on stage can feel quite distant from the rear rows (rows H to N).
