The Woman In Black at The Fortune Theatre

A West End fixture for more than twenty years, The Woman in Black at the Fortune Theatre is a haunting story full of mystery and suspense. A young solicitor, Arthur Kipps, travels north to attend the funeral of a lonely old widow, Mrs Alice Drablow. As Kipps starts to explore the dead woman’s house and papers, he finds himself at the mercy of the sinister secret of the Woman in Black.

If you are of a nervous disposition or suffer any kind heart defect, do not go and see The Woman in Black. Filled with intensity and suspense, the show will terrify you at all the moments you least expect it. Expect some screaming too.

You might also be dissuaded from watching The Woman in Black if you live alone in a large, old, remote house, especially if it is cut off from the mainland at high tide.

CAPTIONED PERFORMANCE of The Woman In Black on Wednesday 2nd June 2010 at 20:00.

The text will be visible from all levels although the recommended seating is the DRESS CIRCLE.
