Vincent Simone and Flavia Cacace, the stars of BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing, bring their spectacular live show, Midnight Tango, to the West End’s Aldwych Theatre in January 2012 for a limited 10 week season prior to a national tour.

Set in a downtown Buenos Aires bar, the production brings alive the drama and sensuality of Latin American nightlife by fusing dazzling choreography with intoxicating tango rhythms.

A Phenomenal Company of Dancers

The show is produced by Arlene Phillips and Adam Spiegel and sees Vincent and Flavia joined on stage by some of the finest tango dancers in the world - including Diomar Giraldo, Yaisuri Salamanca, Alexandra Wood, Guillermo Torrens, Jenny Nolan, Daniel Raphael, Richard Manuel, Pauline Reibell and Leandro Palou & Romina Godoy, plus an internationally renowned tango band.

Box Offices Bombarded with Requests

Ticket sales for the West End season and nationwide tour have already reached £2 million. Speaking about the run, Arlene Phillips said: “For a first-time producer, having a show opening in the West End is a dream, but having a show starring Vincent and Flavia, a phenomenal company of dancers and ticket sales through the roof is more than I could ever have hoped for”.

Midnight Tango will open at the Aldwych Theatre on Friday 20th January 2012 (booking until Saturday 31st March 2012).
