History:
This historic theatre opened in 1897 - the latest of a number of theatres to have stood on the same site. Since the Second World War Her Majesty's has become known for staging large scale musicals, notably West Side Story (1958) and Fiddler On The Roof (1967). Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom Of The Opera opened in October 1986 before going on to enjoy worldwide acclaim!
