History:
The Palace Theatre was built in 1891 as the Palace Theatre of Varieties. During its early years, the Palace played host to some of the biggest names in showbusiness, including Laurel and Hardy, Judy Garland, Danny Kaye and Noel Coward. Today, the Palace is one of the UK’s most popular and successful receiving houses.
