Synopsis: When a quartet of bickering young lovers find themselves in a magical forest after fleeing the restraints of Athenian life, the fairy king Oberon is concerned to see that the natural state of things is slipping out of balance. Frustrated also by his feud with the fairy queen Totania, Oberon enlists the mischievous puck Robin Goodfellow to minister a special love-potion which will re-direct the wayward passions, and restore order to the lives of lovers and fairies alike.
